Critical Care at point of crash
For certain situations, such as high-risk road racing and time trials where emergency incidents can occur in a heart beat, wheels touch and riders go down, a critical care approach focusing on collaborative working with specialist pre-hospital practitioners coming together as a team at the roadside within seconds of a crash is necessary.
With hands on experience of over now 1000 road races.
Pitchside cover that works
By watching and responding instantly often in seconds our specialist teams are able to assess and stablise patients much more rapidly and with experience gain working in various pre-hospital environments on schemes like BASICS & experience in Military Trauma.
More importantly have vast experience covering over 5,000 polo matches for a greater degree of positive patient outcomes.
Experience is key in sports medicine
As athletes that are still active within the sports we cover, along with our experience at all levels of sport in general from schools 7 grass roots to world tours and world championships, we completely understand and are prepared for all minor & major injuries following on pitch or in race incident.
Due to our experience, we also understand the dynamics of sport and the need to get a RAPID CLINICAL ASSESSMENT.
Knowing your athelete
Since 2014 we have had medical staff embedded on the road with various teams travel, eating and sleeping along side the team. This helps us understand the needs both physically and mentally of our atheltes which aids both their preperation & recovery from races / events.
Some of the teams we have helped in the past are Onepro Cycling, NJC Biemme Echelon, Team Ford Ecoboost, VITUS Pro Cycling pb Brother & Performance Cycles.
Sports Science based treatment
We are able to combine our knowledge of the sports we cover with our knowledge in Sport and Exercise Science to ensure the competitiors in your match, tournament or race get the best ongoing medical support.
Using information from our current CPD and the latest research articles & publications enables us to provide participents with advice on current techniques and strategies to optimising their performance following injury.
4 Step Process
We can work and have worked with clients from 10 event participents to 15,000+ participents and we start from scratch.
We will assign you a medical director or lead clinician depending on the size of your event and help with the Risk Assessment (RA) and Event Medical Plan (EMP) before bringing together the best clinicians the UK has to offer to provide your event with a bespoke clinical cover package based on your event risk.
We will work with our clients on a 4 Step Process to ensure you get the best possible medical cover in line with your wishes and needs as well as the legal requirements of your event.
1. Communicate
All good plans start with effective communication, we talk to you via email and always follow-up with a telephone call to ensure we have captured your event requirements.
2. Deign & Quote
We then design an event or training needs specific plan that meets your needs without un-necessary expense or staffing. All our quotes are bespoke to your actual needs rather than off the shelf packages that often are not fit for purpose.
3. Consultation
We then consult with you after the quote and ensure you are happy with the planned event or training. We can also help with all other aspects of H&S if required, we have a wide range of experience and can work with your team to ensure H&S compliance.
4. Implementation
The day before we call to ensure all is ok and on the day arrive in plenty of time to set up and implement the cover or training requirements of your bespoke package.
